Take Home and Heat a Complete Thanksgiving or December Feast

We'll help make holiday entertaining easy and delicious. From appetizers to dessert, we have the dishes you'll need to create superb meals all through November and December. Give us a call! Then simply add guests, cutlery, serving plates and a merry mood to enjoy your holiday feasts.


From November 3-24, Pasta & Co's complete Thanksgiving Dinner is available to order. Its traditional menu generously serves 6 to 8 people. You can roast your own turkey or fea st on our succulent brined turkey breast: $99 orders a complete dinner without the bird; $149 includes the turkey, too. Our Thanksgiving menu includes: House-R oasted Turkey Breast, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Pasta & Co Stuffing, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato and Carrot Purée, Pan Seared Broccoli OR Brussels Sprouts with Garlic Breadcrumbs, Macrina Bakery's Potato Rolls and Pumpkin Cheesecake.


Thanksgiving orders need to be placed by November 24, and picked up by closing time on November 26.


In December, we'll again offer our elegant Holiday Dinner to go. The tantalizing menu is generously portioned to serve 6 people.


Our December holiday menu features House-R oasted Turkey Breast OR Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish Cream Sauce, Butternut Squash Soup, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes OR Potatoes Fleuron, Spinach Gratin OR Pan-Seared Broccoli, Macrina Bakery's Potato Rolls and Peppermint Cheesecake. The cost for a complete holiday dinner with the Beef Tenderloin is $189.00, with the House-Roasted Turkey Breast, $139.00, and for side dishes only, $89.00. Additional servings can be added for larger parties.


Order December meals between November 28 and December 22; pick up by closing time on December 24.


For a festive New Year's Eve dinner, place your order from November 28 through December 28, and pick up by closing time on December 31.


Something about the holidays inspires us to serve traditional dishes. They're the ones we grew up with, favorites linked forever to fond family memories. Every year, we serve them again-because you simply can't have Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner without them.


Whether you're roasting your own turkey, duck or beef, or taking home our tender, moist HOUSE ROASTED TURKEY, we've got a terrific collection of side dishes, both new and returning favorites. If you like potatoes, try our new ROASTED FINGERLING POTATOES WITH GARLIC AND ROSEMARY, nutty-flavored nuggets seasoned with whole cloves of garlic, roasted rosemary sprigs and a dusting of crunchy salt crystals. MASHED POTATO lovers will swoon over our creamy-smooth version cooked with mashed celery root to intensify the rich potato flavor. Or serve GLAZED SWEET POTATOES. Cut into rounds, these naturally sweet, peachy-orange potatoes are glazed with soy sauce, cream sherry and sesame oil, and then roasted to sweet perfection. And of course, we brought back the ever-popular SMASHED YUKONS WITH SMOKY BLUE CHEESE. It's delicious!


Our other seasonal vegetable dishes are classics, too. There's the sweet, creamy SWEET POTATO CARROT PURÉE, accented with nutmeg and a hit of Cayenne, and creamy SPINACH GRATIN topped with cheesy bread crumbs. Or try MAPLE GLAZED CARROTS, a dish sure to become a family favorite. Coin-shaped carrot slices are coated with a sweet/savory mixture of maple syrup, butter, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, and then roasted to perfect tenderness. Or take home ROASTED VEGETABLES WITH FENNEL, a delightful medley of fennel, celery root, butternut squash, onions and peppers. We've also brought back ROASTED VEGETABLES WITH CELERY ROOT, to give a different twist to the combination.


Cauliflower lovers can rejoice! This season, we're offering two versions of this healthful, mild vegetable. One is a flavorful pairing: LEMON CAPER CAULIFLOWER. It's just what the name suggests: bright cauliflower is tossed in a marinade of lemon and capers and then garnished with fresh parsley. Or choose our brand new CAULIFLOWER WITH SEASONED BREADCRUMBS. It's an easy heat-and-serve dish of roasted cauliflower florets seasoned with a blend of butter, parsley and red pepper flakes and then topped with cheesy breadcrumbs.


Add Brussels sprouts for another classic holiday side dish. For BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH GARLIC BREADCRUMBS, we've tossed the "sprouts" with caramelized onions, then topped and baked them under a simple crunchy topping of toasted ground breadcrumbs.


On nights when cooking is the last thing you want to do, we're offering some of our most popular dishes. Take home servings of CHEESE TORTELLINI WITH BROWN BUTTER SAGE SAUCE. This savory vegetarian dish tosses cheese tortellini and chunks of butternut squash in a light brown butter sauce with sage. Drum roll please! We're testing three new side dishes to possibly join the popular "World's Best" Mac & Cheese from Beecher's. Available now only in Pasta & Co stores, you can take home SMOKEY BLUE Smashed Potatoes made with Yukon Gold potatoes etched with a ribbon of roasted yams running through their creamy goodness. Seasoned with garlic, thyme and plenty of Beecher's Flagship and the famed Rogue Creamery's Smokey Blue cheese, we're betting this dish will be a winner. You'll also find the HUMBOLDT FOG POTATO BAKE, combining sliced and baked red potatoes, sliced mushrooms and onions, plus Beecher's Flagship cheese and Cypress Grove's original Humboldt Fog, a creamy, surfaced-ripened goat's milk cheese. Sweet potatoes are a must at most family's holiday meals. This humble root vegetable is packed with goodness and is naturally sweet. We've given the classic sweet potato casserole a twist here by adding carrots and puréeing the whole batch with cream and spices. It's extra easy and great-tasting!


Sweet Potato and Carrot Purée


Serves 6 to 8


4 pounds sweet potatoes, washed
2 pounds carrots, washed and trimmed
1-1/2 quarts water
1/8 cup white sugar
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened (about 2¼ sticks)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper


Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.


Pierce each potato with a knife and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake the potatoes for 1 hour or until they can be easily pierced with a fork. Note that different sizes will require longer or shorter baking times. Remove the potatoes from the oven and let cool. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F.


While the potatoes are cooking, cut the carrots into 1/2-inch lengths. Fill a large saucepan with the water and add the sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper. Place the carrots in the saucepan and cook, uncovered, over high heat until all of the liquid has evaporated and the sugar begins to caramelize, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and cover the pan.


Peel the cooled sweet potatoes, cut them into chunks and stir into the carrots. Mix in the remaining 1 cup of butter. Set aside.


Pour the heavy cream into a small bowl and whisk in the nutmeg and Cayenne pepper.


Place a third of the sweet potato carrot mixture into the bowl of a food processor. Pour in a third of the cream mixture. Process until the mixture is smooth, scraping down the sides. Place the puréed mixture into a large bowl. Repeat with remaining sweet potato mixture and cream, adding more cream if necessary. Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.


To serve, spoon the sweet potato mixture into a heat-proof serving dish and bake until hot and heated through, about 1 hour.
